One place that it’s easy to find good and cheap accommodations is Edinburgh,  Scotland. Edinburgh apartments located on the Royal Mile or on popular Princes Street are affordable and well-fitted. You will, though, be paying a little extra for the location so if you want city centre accommodation.

So, what’s the catch to getting cheap but good Edinburgh self catering apartments?  There isn’t a catch except that you have to book early to get one of these places. Go online and see whats available. Chances are, if you’re visiting Edinburgh during the high season, your choices will be good but not necessarily cheap. You might also find higher prices during Hogmany, Scotland’s boisterous New Year’s Celebration.

For the best good and cheap Edinburgh apartments, visit the city in May or October. Both months are  pleasant weather-wise and you’ll avoid the crowds at the most popular attractions like Edinburgh castle. You’ll probably be able to get a very good apartment at a very reasonable price, maybe even an apartment with castle views. Even in the nicest areas of Edinburgh, the accommodations are very reasonable in the low season.
