Barcelona bans swimwear go down the street
If you think walking a few days in Barcelona this summer, consider bringing appropriate clothing. The city of Barcelona has been arranged quickly to avoid a show that is usual and has recently banned anyone to go through the streets with scantily clad, thus avoiding giving bad image to tourists and of course not to inconvenience citizens who walk peacefully through the city.
From now you can not leave your hotel in Barcelona to stroll around, the bathing suit top and exposed in the case of men, or only in bikini or swimsuit, women.
The swimsuit only in areas of the pools, beaches and of course in spaces designed for them. Stroll the Ramblas in a bikini, no way. From sitting on a terrace topless … either.
Although controversial rules, the truth is not exactly the most pleasant of the world to be walking down the street and meet people that are naked or just scantily clad, so that the council listened to residents and visitors to prohibit such inappropriate clothing or fine as the absence of clothing. From 22 May we will be more careful with the clothes we wear when they leave our hotel in Barcelona because otherwise the fines could amount to 500 euros.
